Njvice Croatia

Njivice is a village that is located in West Croatia on the island of Krk and has a population of 1,115 inhabitants as of 2011. It is part of the municipal administration of Omišalj that is located approximately six kilometres away northward along the coast The village Njivice is located in the northwest of the island Krk. Right at the coast, the western part is gazing upon the Mediterranean Sea and the interior of the village embraces the surrounding forest landscape. In close proximity to the village the remains of the Roman settlement Fulfinium as well as a basilica from the fifth century can be found.
