Redang Island (in Malay: Pulau Redang or simply "Redang") is one of the largest islands of the east coast of the Asian country of Malaysia, facing the state of Terengganu. It is one of the nine islands (next to Pulau Lima, Pulau Paku Besar, Pulau Paku Kecil, Pulau Kerengga Kecil, Pulau Kerengga Besar, Pulau Ekor Tebu, Pulau Ling and Pulau Pinang), which form a marine park, and which offer activities such as Snorkeling and diving Access is from Merang or Kuala Terengganu on boats operated by the resorts. The Redang Airport is small and operates with the services of Air Berjaya of Singapore (Changi Airport) and Kuala Lumpur (Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport).
