Trois-Rivières Canada

Trois-Rivières is the second-oldest city in Quebec, founded in 1634. It lies almost half-way between Montreal and Quebec City and can make a nice stopover on travel between those two cities. The main sight in Trois-Rivières is the old city or vieille-ville, concentrated by the river along rue des Ursulines. It's far smaller than those of Montreal or Quebec, but picturesque in a low-key way and worth a stroll. Trois-Rivières is a perfect stop halfway between Quebec City and Montreal. Right along the scenic St. Lawrence River, there are plenty of photo opportunities, historical points of interest and great dining
