About the destination: Praia do Forte is a charming beach town to 80 km from the city of Salvador de Bahia, located in northeastern Brazil that gives to the Atlantic Ocean. This destination is an attractive and somewhat ecologically sensitive beach village overflowing with stylish restaurants and shops. The beach is very nice. When the tide is out there are tide pools that are full of sea life.

The capital’s majestic port has 3 docks commonly used for several cruises and it is, currently, the busiest port in the European Atlantic coast. Strolling through the old quarters one can hear the traditional Fado sung and played in small restaurants in town.
