Inselhopping La Palma, La Gomera & Teneriffa

About the destination: La Palma, also San Miguel de La Palma, is the most north-westerly of the Canary Islands. La Palma is the green island which reveals a multitude of colours beneath one of the best skies in the world in terms of astronomic observation. For this reason, you won’t be surprised to find that the most important astrophysics observatories in the northern hemisphere are situated here. La Palma is a small island with a wide variety of towns, villages and scenic areas. Varying from the volcanoes of the southern point to the magnificent views from Roque de Los Muchachos, and from the quiet of Puntagorda and El Tablado to the busy towns of Santa Cruz and Los Llanos. Los Llanos de Aridana is the largest town on the west coast of the island. The town combines a modern infrastructure with old charm.

About the destination: La Gomera is the second smallest island of the Canary Islands. Garajonay National Park, the jewel of the Canaries natural heritage, was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986. It has one of the best kept secrets of the islands. The forest of "El Cedro" is a true relic of the Tertiary and world reserve for the conservation of laurel. Thanks to the action of the sea of clouds (horizontal rain) the vegetation is very thick and we can find faille, heather, laurel and ferns. It is also being full of trails to hike, where we can learn firsthand of all the secrets of this ancient forest. In addition to Garajonay National Park, representing 33.3% of the total area of the island, La Gomera has 16 protected natural areas. La Gomera is an ideal touristic place to enjoy the beautiful landscape and the wonderful beaches, and the tropic climate during all the year.

About the destination: Los Cristianos is a town situated on the south coast of the island of Tenerife and is one of the most popular towns in the Canary Islands. Wandering around the old fishing village there are still buildings in the typical Canarian style of architecture and some of the fishing village atmosphere remains. Elsewhere the town is newer and has grown up as a tourist resort. The port is attractive and offers various excursions including whale and dolphin spotting. Game fishing is also a popular activity in Los Cristianos for both experienced fishermen and those interested in having a go for the first time The Eagle Park is also a nice option to visit, and the Siam Park, which is the biggest aquatic park in Europe.
