About the destination: Kolymbia is a city in Rhodes. Kolymbia has a very rectangular structure. The streets that lead to the hotels lead from the Eucalyptus Avenue. The streets are named after European capitals, except for the street of the European Union. You don't have to imagine the streets as real streets. Moskauer Strasse, for example, is just a dirt road. the further you get inland, the worse these roads get. There is an ATM in the Hotel Port Royal that can be accessed from outside; Otherwise there is an ATM, but it is quite sensitive and only operates in the summer months. Entered the wrong number three times and the card is gone forever. This machine is located near the pharmacy. You can get money better in Afandou, but here you should make sure that you catch a machine that also accepts an EC card, because that is not a matter of course here.

4. Tsambika, Rhodes
Stop
About the destination: Tsambika beach is long and broad with fine, golden sand and dozens of colourful little flags marking out the various eating establishments and beach sports centers. Tsambika is one of the most beautiful beaches on Rhodes. Tsambika (or Tsampika) beach combines the extremes: bikini beauties on a dream beach on the one hand and pious pilgrims to the miraculous Marian icon on the other. Tsambika beach, also a popular destination for excursion boats, is one of the most beautiful beaches of the east coast of Rhodes, and still unspoiled. The beach is well frequented, but even in midsummer hardly crowded. On Tsambika beach there are water sports, beach showers, sun loungers and umbrellas for hire, several taverns and snack bars; you can play beach volleyball. Be careful though: the sand heats up so much during the hot months, that a walk is only possible with sandals. It is one of the warmest places on the island. Above the bright white fine sand, rises the steep 240m high rock, on which a white chapel is enthroned. A steep road and then an equally steep stairway lead up. This chapel, the "Kyra Panagia Tsambika" (Tsambika Monastery), has always been a pilgrimage destination for women who are having difficulties conceiving.

About the destination: The Kalithea spring, located 8 km northeast of the medieval city of Rhodes, is located within the homonymous bay and next to the beautiful beach of Kallithea. Already since antiquity, the curative power of these waters was known. In 1927 the construction of an architectural complex was ordered, which was awarded for its beautiful composition and large spaces, where we can see staircases, terraces and patios with beautiful stone mosaics. In 2007 the site was again opened and opened to the public after being closed and in the process of restoration since 1967. Today we can enjoy all its splendor and grandeur with its open terraces to the bay, where we find one of the most picturesque beaches of Rhodes. This beach is without a doubt one of the most picturesque of northern Rhodes. Its charm lies in its beautiful surroundings, with a landscape surrounded by pines and palm trees, highlighting its promenade created by natural terraces of stone, and from where we can dive in its crystalline waters against the backdrop of the beautiful dome of the spa of Kallithea (Kalithea). It gives it a certain oriental air and we have the sensation of being in a kind of Arabian oasis.
